This morning, I had ‘Pho-o’ (beef noodle) for breakfast. The ingredients for this dish were beef soup, some beef-oil, thick rice noodles, beef slices, and raw vegetables. Ahhh… It was so delicious I could have asked for another bowl. But, as it is, rice noodles makes one feel full very fast.. and makes one hungry about 2 hours later..
When we came back from breakfast, I slept on the hammock as it swung from left to right. When I awoke at about 10am, we went to a nearby theme park, 2-3 km away from the house of my friend. At the entrance of this park, there was a dragon to greet visitors. The whole dragon was made completely from ceramic plates!
The garden in the theme park was designed according to the designs of the palace of Olden China, during the Qing and Ming Dynasty..
When we came home,we had this delicious dish of beef salad.. consisting of beef, raw vegetables, vinegar and sugar! Ooooh!!!
Then we went shopping!
In the night, toured round the whole city! Sat on the motorbike and enjoyed the city’s Christmas lights and decorations.. Some of the churches and shopping complexes even had snow designs, reindeers… and colourful tree trunks and santa claus!
Oh ya! A lot of shops in Vietnam sell tiny Santa Claus Outfits for children of ages 2-3 yrs! When the kids don the costume on, Oh!!! They look so adorable! Like elves!
